Katherine has experience working in research, mental health and hospital settings and she takes a collaborative and evidence-based approach to working with adults across the lifespan. Katherine uses therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, and draws upon a client’s values, strengths, and goals to support their journey towards a meaningful and fulfilling life. Katherine has a warm and compassionate style, and she understands the importance of developing a secure and trusting relationship with clients. She believes that taking the time to understand a person’s experiences and supporting the development of knowledge and helpful skills is essential in helping people attain positive mental health, wellbeing and happiness for the future.
